Brunner Mond Quality Policy
Our Quality Policy provides the principles by which we operate across our European
operation, and to demonstrate the continuing improvement of our operations we monitor our performance by conducting regular audits and quality reviews.
ISO 9001:2000
Our customers demand from us high quality products and to enable us to satisfy their demands all our European operation complies with the internationally recognised quality standard ISO9001:2000. Our UK operations were first certified in 1990.
We also assess customer satisfaction during frequent visits/audits and by regular contacts with our sales team. We measure our manufacturing performance using a series of KPIs.
This quality standard requires that we operate (procurement, manufacturing and supply chain) according to a series of rigorous clauses against which we are regularly assessed by an independent, certification body, LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) who are UKAS accredited.
Brunner Mond is part of Tata Chemicals, whose Quality Management System in India is also certified to ISO9001:2000. One major benefit of this merger is that we are now working together to introduce best quality practices to our operations on both continents.
