The chemical and physical properties of Brunner Mond products make them, not only essential raw materials for the production and synthesis of a wide range of chemicals but also as processing aids to industries manufacturing products that touch our everyday life.

As a source of sodium ions, Sodium Carbonate is used in the production process of important inorganic chemicals, including silicates, phosphates, chromates and percarbonates. Whilst the carbonate ion is important in the production of metal carbonates eg. zirconium, nickel and cobalt.
