Brunner Mond operates a Fair Employment Policy which is concerned with all the relationships between Employer and Employee. Performance Related Pay
Salaries are reviewed on a regular basis and salary progression is closely linked to individual performance for those covered by the merit related pay agreement.

An annual bonus scheme based on achieving annual targets linked to local performance factors.

Company paid membership of a Private Healthcare Scheme giving prompt access to a wide range of medical treatment.
Pension Fund
A Group Personal Pension Plan through Norwich Union. Participants can choose to sacrifice from 2% to 7% of pensionable salary which is matched by company contributions in the range of 4% to 9%. The scheme includes death benefit insurance of 5 times pensionable salary, with 3 times payable as a death benefit and 2 times used to purchase spouse’s/children’s pensions.
Holidays
Holiday entitlement is on a calendar year basis. In the first year of employment an employee is entitled to 21 days holiday, rising to 26 days after the first year is complete. Pro-rata arrangements apply for part-year service. Employees also receive the 8 declared public holidays.
Holiday/2% Bonus Option
In addition to the annual holiday entitlement, employees with more than 6 months service have an annual option of a 2% Holiday Bonus or 5 days extra holiday.
Long Service Award Scheme
Long service is recognised with awards for twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five and forty years service.
Relocation Package
A relocation package for people who by reason of taking up new employment with the Company have to move house incurring certain relocation expenses.
Personal Performance and Development Planning
The Company believes in continuous development of its people and each year every employee has a review with their manager/team leader to consider their role, performance and objectives for the year ahead, training needs and also longer term career plans.
