The facility recovers trona from one of the purest surface deposits in the base of the Rift Valley and converts it into sodium carbonate (soda ash).

It produces dense soda ash or anhydrous sodium carbonate

It produces crushed refined soda, a chemical composition similar to that of natural sodium sesquicarbonate
